The Royal Birth-- We understand

My mom is in town and is obsessed with the Royals so we have watched 24 hour coverage of this event on the news.  Since we live at the Kingdom of Traiylor, I feel like I can understand what Will & Kate must be going through.  But on the real, it is fun to relive what those first few days felt like.  I have never been on such a high in my life.  The endorphins were pumping through my veins and I couldn't stop smiling for 2 days, I swear.  It was the best.  Almost makes me want to do it again.  

Scratch that.  

I haven't slept in 5 months.  I'm talking crazy.  How do people have more than one baby?  Talk to me in a few years or hold my hand while I cry if we have a "surprise" before then.  I bow down to any woman that does this more than once.

p.s.  Andrew wants me to assure everyone that he does not hate me and apologizes for his dirty mouth and oversharing wife.  

moving in: update

The last time we failed inspection (before we passed inspection) it was due to the grade..or....6 inches of something ..or the construction of a containment wall....... I don't know what the issue was really, BUT in the end we ended up with an awesome rock wall in our back yard. And this is the last step before moving in. We just need electricity finished being set up. (i want it nowwwwww)

You may just see a pile of rocks...but me and Hunter see stepping stones!! We've still got tons of little projects to finish. (like having something other than clay around our porches)

No trailer BUT...

I really mean it....should I even say it.....yes I will.

I think THINK we are getting the trailer within the next two weeks. (I've only been saying that for 2 months now)

GRASS IS GROWING IN MY YARD. OUR YARD. HAS GRASS. WOO HOOO.

Oh grass, Oh grass I love you! I do!

Would I have even been this excited for my grass if lil' trailer was here? Probably not. So maybe that is the lesson in all this. Pay attention to the little miracles. Like, laying down grass seed and in 2-3 weeks having grass. You know, miracles like that.

Sleep tight internet machine.

Today we went to the Health Department...

And we got an application to dig a well and septic tank.

Yes sir, we're a buildin' a cabin!

Andrew's parents are giving us a few acres behind the farm. It is the most peaceful, wonderful piece of land. I am pinching myself because I can't believe it is really going to happen.

Okay. SO....this is step 1 in about a million step process. It will be a few years before we will be in the cabin but in the meantime we are going to put in the well and septic and bring in a mobile home.

Who am I kidding here? We're gettin' a trailer!!!!!

I never thought I would be so happy in all my life to say, "Baby, can I be the queen of your double wide trailer?" But I am. SO excited.

One of my favorite things about this spot are the red barns that you can see in the distance (that and the mountains, of course). You can barely see them through the snow!



So. Guess what we have to wait for before we can start anything. Oh you know, we just have to wait for the snow to melt off of the ground.

Ay, yi yi.

We just need a window of opportunity to clear the land and dig. Too bad mother nature has other plans for us.

It has to melt soon, right?
