I see you

Friday night= success. Oh my. I had the best time ever & Darrell Scott was freaking phenomnal.

Saturday Day= work. Oh my. Longest day ever fueld by red bull (yuck)

Saturday Night= First time watching Avitar (aka Fern Gully on steriods)

Sunday Morning= First trail ride ever with my Crummett family around the neighborhood.

I spent the entire trail ride pretending that I was an Avitar riding around in Pandora. I even tried to stick my ponytail to the horses tail to see if we would become one. I was in a geeked out wonder world.

Reality hit when I got off of the horse and realized that sitting down would be hard for the next few days.

I didn't realize that I had bones in the place that it hurts....but I assure you I do.

I'll just leave on that note. Hope you had a good weekend too. ;)

lucky boots

I'm singing tonight at Kirk Ave Music Hall.

My friend Mickey & I are opening for Darrell Scott. Let's just say that he's pretty damn accomplished and let's just say that my throat is in my ankles right now.

That's why I've decided to wear my lucky boots tonight. I "acquired" these boots when I was in a band called Tears & Whiskey.

Andrew is quite upset that I am showing you all this picture. He is so ashamed of the weeds. But....I think they are pretty weeds. And I like this picture of the mountains so he will just have to swallow his pride.

I would have loved to have captured all of the buds and blooms and beautiful mountains but alas, Onion Man is all I have to show for.

Future Sunrise...

I woke up early today and drug myself down to our little spot 'o land to watch the sunrise.

Just before the sunrise Andrew came around the corner to watch it with me.

It was a lovely way to start the day.

We just can't wait. :)
